Don't want to grow hare

This past Sunday Jeff was out weeding our side garden - and called me to come look at the little bunny just sitting there. We knew there must be rabbits around because some of our flowers have been nibbled on. So - we were watching this one and we saw the "ground" breathing...Jeff took as stick & started digging a little bit & sure enough - there were more... (You can see the one eyeball and the hair of another one...)Next thing we know, there are little bunnies hopping around our yard.Their den "destroyed." We felt kinda bad - but at the same time, we can't have these lil' ones eating our soon to be veggie garden.

Nonetheless, they sure are photogenic.

These are such cute pictures! I used to have pet rabbit that looked like these ones...awwww! Guess it's name?...Fluffy! I wonder if this little one's ancestors traveled from the frontier of Hallsport to the metropolis of Wellsville?! Ha, ha! It's possible...we let them go free...unless they met their destiny by other means...gulp!
