Brothers

On May 10th, my family went over to our local park to view the Moving Wall (which I'll have to post more photos later). That Saturday there was a motorcycle brigade that came through Wellsville, so we thought we'd go watch. Little did my dad know that his brother would be riding...
We were all tickled to see my Uncle Joe riding his bike through our town!

No Bakes!

While Jeff & Noah were busy outside getting the garden in, I was busy inside making 8 dozen cookies for Jeff's 4th grade Spotlight concert - gotta love Peanut Butter NoBakes!

In the navy...

Noah loves to watch episodes of the Muppets that I now have on DVD. His current favorite is the song "In the Navy" - where the pigs are dressed up as Vikings. Noah always makes sure he has his viking hat on...silly kid.

Garden

Jeff has been faithfully growing all our seeds in our greenhouse since late April. After much tilling & loving these seeds, the garden was finally put in today. It's been fun having Noah help Jeff & watch the plants grow. It'll be a busy summer as baby #2 arrives and we will also harvest (or so we hope): zucchini, rumba squash, acorn squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, radishes, pumpkins, gourds, and maybe even a few watermelon.
I can't wait to start having fresh veggies out of the garden!

May 29th

Thursday, May 29th marked our 4-year anniversary. Four years has flown by - it has taken us to Florida, Nevada, California, Barrie Canada, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and from an apartment to our home, which will soon be blessed with child number 2.

Thursday night Jeff came home with a surprise for me - 4 long-stemmed roses (my favorite) - one for each year. That night our dear friend, Jessica, watched Noah for us so we could go out to eat at the Beef Haus. We had our favorite: French Onion Soup & enjoyed our hour & 1/2 at the restaurant together.

I dug up the 2 above photos to post - wow, we look so young!

Bubbles

Noah would play in the bathtub ALL DAY long if we let him. The bubbles only add to the fun...

Somebody's getting married...

My cousin Laura & her fiance, Jed, are getting married this September. I took their engagement pictures last week - here are a few of my favorites...

WHY?

Why do people think it's appropriate to clip their nails during church?

Sandbox

Back in April, when we had that special warm-weather treat for a week or so, Jeff & I gave Noah an early birthday present - a sand & water table. Because I can't fathom the mess that would come quickly with both sand AND water, we call it Noah's SANDBOX.
He's quite delighted.

Thrilled about #2

...poop that is.

My mom JUST called me. It's 1:35pm on Wednesday, May 14th.

Noah, a mere 22 months old - told my mom that he had to go to the potty to poop. He hasn't done this yet, although he does enjoy sitting on the kiddie-toilet seat.
So, my mom took him into the bathroom -and voila, Noah pooped on the toilet for the first time!

I am THRILLED!

Don't want to grow hare

This past Sunday Jeff was out weeding our side garden - and called me to come look at the little bunny just sitting there. We knew there must be rabbits around because some of our flowers have been nibbled on. So - we were watching this one and we saw the "ground" breathing...Jeff took as stick & started digging a little bit & sure enough - there were more... (You can see the one eyeball and the hair of another one...)Next thing we know, there are little bunnies hopping around our yard.Their den "destroyed." We felt kinda bad - but at the same time, we can't have these lil' ones eating our soon to be veggie garden.

Nonetheless, they sure are photogenic.
