Midway Park - Chautauqua Lake - July 30th
On Thursday, the 30th, we drove from Jeff's parents' down to Chautauqua Lake for the day. It's so beautiful there!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXGXAEw5wD53fWBudlZ5wLbCz25bN39uM0qfykMVxtlXwgK3cj0746mFU7XwoRkpJ9ClxWJ3Q-wqwuR_XM6aLU8L1T-ISiJXorSMc29Wmo5Xk5YCOqy6w4jJr3uTs2pP9_QvV_8w/s400/044.JPG)

After taking in a few scenes of the lake, we took the kids to Midway Park. What a perfect little gem for small kids like ours.
Noah wanted to ride the boats first - and kept saying they were like "Papa J's boat!"![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7x_-EKbENDX9p4urmu9dFCY7-JhMkXD6PyL3W-YrVs_5E7xcht8HHkDd-c8H9EXcfrkAjGgx7OE437QnLUe-38oCPbHzWWsZfzPTqN5XyuA7idz9peHp8A3m_vFcvF_asbtAeqg/s400/052.JPG)
Next - a train ride. Noah loves trains.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUARWZaU9mu_53OgnG6AKRMyPycCTk_BLeSjrd1wCx_LqA0MBKLMmJUAaVvq0aKv1J-Sw3O2rnrOk1aOg8mfFge_7oGflCtyL6-xsv_Z7IE2KjU0KbV5PjZUoeOMSai3TnEQL6aw/s400/062.JPG)

Then, the rollar coaster. When Noah got done on the coaster he said, "That's scary, I don't ride that again."![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSuZDcWh6kKoadYhlc-bLOydsqTga5SFr1nvQ1GnPx2fWgzKbWchccFE_uvwNiEzkpesxvcKIwjO1Gt6uIhJvlQPpk2lsFkp7nMYkOjeyAohuWC5r3kvIXZsA2PetnA9Q9YPr4LQ/s400/074.JPG)
Jeff was a good sport riding most of the rides for Noah - as this was Noah's 1st time riding any rides.
Norah had a good time watching.
We packed a picnic & ate a nice lunch at the park.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7x4-Iqsu3qfCAsk-0tZ3wbg2TvlkDNtkvkUEo303lbDgBRMa55uixGgUKZNauU4uk6NA07dJMuIv9hgyKTgbGHhYG7VIwb3Uc8jEdYy2FAWjJfpS9s0t6vQ7raDdLljfsPeNvAA/s400/086.JPG)
Nothing beats the Merry-Go-Round.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguV66mBL85Z4kxbmB2pdwSL0jd6vN41A4g5BkntLCK7_kBFjtepVLQjToqHQ3S9MPFYmHCo8aLtnSbWQm1M6-dUZvVJ3YJC0zOOinStngaNR_otfOdxOyZV7h3ewR-mSLkMY3ijw/s400/093.JPG)
Next, a stroll down to the lake again.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEQNz6OaZM-V17OSYkBNC-66NVzxbztU9_yAUiwoIiVakhQ5Tx2RcBYyLJjyrDDch32go968zlnXesa3v3zjCW92bxhcIp124cSSPoXUQd-Sf64w-tbep5SFhu-b7edJXttQxISA/s400/105.JPG)
View looking back up from the lake:
Back to the boats - I lost count, but I think he rode the boats 7 times.
The "Tidal Wave" - another ride Noah said he didn't want to ride again.
*Whew, that's over.
Noah LOVED the Fun Slide & did this several times, too!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiA75qwELLevj7KnweuspoPtNrnzA3F9jwduZzFc8SDg2BMxuVEa8nfN5bxnSma_Kdck8cnlZHaKxYeXXGT7seE6zsEbRDgqY-MGwCyNLoIDMCaLYihALLdvc6iilKMX3zxDNnXbg/s400/140.JPG)

And the planes...
The Tilt-A-Whirl - not a fan of this yet, either, but he did a great job.
One last train ride before heading home!
What a fun day - we hope to do this again before summer is over.

How fun =)
You are making some very nice memories for your kids! Kudos to Jeff for riding along with Noah - what a great sport!
We all know it was Noah riding with Daddy so Daddy wouldn't be scared :) !!! Fun memories!
Looks like you and the kids all had fun! Your next purchase might either need to be a boat-go-round in your backyard! :)
Man I wish I could have gone and enjoyed the rides, too! Looks like a great time! Bet Noah thought that was more fun than Uncle AJ's tractor!
