Thanks for the comment on my blog. Noah has never had an ERG - all his retinal problems could be seen just with a retinal exam (he had retinopothy of prematurity that he had surgery for). I did have a friend from church whose little boy had it done, though. He has some genetic disorder that could only be diagnosed through that test. She said he was sedated and seemed fine afterwards.
