Jeff, Noah & I just returned from vacation on Saturday, Feb. 24th. No, we did not go to Miami Beach - this was taken back when we were SMART and DID go somewhere warm (in 2004). Instead, we drove to Barrie, ON Canada. DO not ask why. Cold, snow pictures to follow. I always thought I liked Canada. I was wrong. I should say that I like Toronto. Period. Jule Ann, I'm sorry but... Barrie, in February was just plain wrong - I should have spoken with you first!

I don't know about Barrie, but I LOVE Ottawa in February. That's a city that knows how to deal with snow. The snowplows are quick to get the roads clear, so there is rarely a snow day, and the people actually embrace winter. There's ice sculptures, and giant snow slides, and ice skating on the 4-mile-long canal, and special winter festival foods, and all kinds of winter fun. I miss it so much!

Your little guy is awful precious with those big baby blues. I read that he has to see a doctor for them? I don't know the reason but I will keep him in my prayers. It is always scary when things are not as they should be with our children!
