Look Who's Walking!
April 19th, Norah decided it was time to start walking. Now, I always thought that 10-months was YOUNG to start walking - when others would say "Oh my baby walked at 9 months or 10 months!" But, alas, Norah - at 10 months, is indeed - walking! It took her awhile to get use to the grass, but now she's loving it & there's no stopping her.

I love the feel of fresh-mowed grass!
Lil'Miss
Wet
Jeff started to string the hose out so he could water the gardens - this always amuses Noah.
"Hmm, I might as well take a drink."
This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it:
Noah was initially a little disgruntled that he got all wet:
Next thing we know: Noah solved the problem & took his wet shorts off. (side note: YAY - Noah's been potty-trained since April 20th and loves wearing big-boy undies!)
Nothing stops Noah - he'll take off his wet shorts & hop right back on the tractor.
And Lil'Miss, she just plays with her toes & takes it all in...

Ah, New Bathroom How We Love You
Back in April you may remember this: click here. (you'll have to scroll down some)
Our bathroom has since been finished & we are loving it. It just may have been worth this mess:

Noah's 1st Love
Mud
Greenhouse
Jeff's been busy once again in the greenhouse. With our annual garage sale coming up - Jeff wanted to go "Bigger & better" this year with selling his plants.
Roma's, beefers, and cherry tomatoes...
Good thing we (and our parents) eat a lot of yogurt - it's perfect for selling plants! He also has started gourds, Casper pumpkins, "normal" pumpkins, zucchinis, yellow squash, goose neck gourds, corn, you name it - we've got it. Soon - to the garden!
10 Months - May 15th
Wow, 10 months. I feel (probably) like every other parent who watches their children grow up way too fast. It's just so fun; everyday is something new. I often refer to Lil'Miss as my "koala bear" as she likes to be on my hip - or at least where I am. Some days, yes, it's tiring - but I love it - What was life ever like before Norah (and Noah!)?
Almost walking - so hard to believe - she tries to keep right up w/ Mr. Noah.
Watching traffic go by...
Hmm, I think I felt a bug
I love the wisp!
I know - I could eat her right up!
YAWN! "Mom, are we done yet?!"

Noah-isms
Noah's doing a great job on getting potty-trained. While I'm at work, he sometimes calls me to "report" his bathroom activity.
This morning he called me & says,
"Hi Mama - I go water & poopy!"
I love it - he calls #1 "going water!"
Smart kid.

Dirt
So, as the weather is continually beautiful (in the 80's in April!), and Noah continues to use the potty, he knows that he can go outside & sit on the tractor. I have been telling Jeff how Noah ALWAYS gets SO dirty every night. Tonight Noah says with a giggle, "I go outside to get dirrrrrr-teee!" It was getting near bedtime-routine time & Jeff knocked on the back door & told me to come here. I took a look, started laughing, went back in & got the camera.
Yep - dirty indeed... nice 'stach, Noah!

I asked Noah what he was doing and he said, "I check something out on tractor." Not quite sure WHAT he thought he needed to check out, but I think he found it!

I'll Give You A Ride IF...
Monday, April 20th, Noah pooped on our new potty for the 1st time. Now, I won't say I'm ANY expert at potty training, but from what I've read/heard - typically kids don't poop on the potty first (vs. being #1 trained). Well, our son does. AND, he hasn't pooped in his diapers since :) Yep - I almost documented those lil'logs, but I didn't - instead - you get what we bribe him with: Tractor rides. At any given time you can look out the back window & see Noah just sitting or "checking out" the tractor. He knows that if he poops in the potty during the day that he gets a ride (and ice cream, to boot! - Hey, whatever works, he's well on his way to being 100% trained)
"I try to figure out why tractor broke." (The tractor isn't broken, Noah just thinks he needs to putter about & look it all over!)
"I drive tractor, Mama - see me!"
I don't know what Noah is more excited about - poopin' on the potty or riding the tractor...I almost believe it's the later.
9 Months
April 15th - Norah turned 9 months. She sure is a lil' spit fire: crawling faster than lightening, wanting table food - you name it, she wants to do it! We turn around & she's drinking out of Noah's cup & grabbing his snacks. She keeps us on our toes! This picture of her cracks us up:
"Who me, I'm innocent!"
