Little Drummer Boy

Looks like Mr. Noah is taking after his Mama. I'd have to say - for being 2 - he's pretty good. He gets out my pots and either uses them to sit on, or for another drum...using the lid for a cymbal. He keeps counting, "One, two, one two..." then clicks the sticks together. It's adorable to watch.

Whoops.

The snow beat us to our pumpkins. Jeff finally got the pithy-orange-faces to our compost pile. They were fun while they lasted.

15th Sunday - October 26th

Mommy is way behind on blogging. Our computer is currently slow, so we have to upgrade to a higher speed.
So, enjoy this picture of me for now!
Love,

Noah's Excitement

It really is amazing to watch your children grow up. Noah is starting to understand/communicate a lot more with us everyday. He was THRILLED when we told him of our party (and kept saying AJ all day long!). He also has fallen in love with another one of my favorite movies: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Thanks to our handy DVR, we DVR'd it last week & now Noah can watch it whenever he wants. I do hope that he slows down on growing up though, it's a lot of fun.

Annual Halloween Party

Last year we had a cousin-Halloween Party & this year we decided to follow suit. Jeff & I spent Saturday morning getting the house ready & making chicken-wing dip! Noah absolutely loves wearing his costume, so it wasn't an issue at all to get him to put it on again.I'm waiting for the fun to start! This year was a bit different, for we didn't know until last minute if anyone could make it or not. So, Jeff & I threw togas together in a valiant attempt to be dressed up.This is Ed, aka my sister-in-law, Sherry. She stayed in her character almost ALL night. Not sure what he called himself, but - otherwise known as Eli.The gang: Jeff, Norah, Eli, Jesse & D (and Thing 1 and Thing 2), AJ (showcasing Nike), myself and Noah, and Ed (Sherry). We played Balderdash (Sherry won, and Jesse came in second, with AJ a close third)
I thought of Laura (and missed her lots!) - as I made my answers relate to Idaho. I think everyone caught on, because - well, I came in 2nd to last! Oh well. Next year we are doing an 80's party - and- since I LOVE the 80's, I can't wait to dress up for that. Hopefully you can make it Laura!

Feed Me!

Norah, who will be 16-weeks old this Tuesday, Election Day, had rice cereal yesterday for the first time. This cute lil' piglet wanted a bottle every 2 hours and was relentless about it. So, I brought out the rice. She may be cute, but THIS is what happens when she wants to eat:
Hmm, what is this stuff?Ok, I can handle this stuff.Whoa, I ask for food and I get food - slow down! Much, much happier baby. Rice cereal it will be, Lil' Miss.

Happy Halloween!

Jeff was getting Noah ready... "Mom got me all ready, but what crazy tradition is this?"
Say CHEESE, Noah! Now we were off to our neighbors' house...
Noah got this Reese's cup at our first stop (the neighbors) and wouldn't let go of it. It was a nice gooey mess when we got home.Walking up to Uncle AJ & Aunt Sherry's house (still holding his Reese cup!)
And again, pausing to say cheese!
What's better than candy? Playing with Aunt Sherry's abacus.
Noah had a lot of fun this year - we went to the neighbors, AJ & Sherry's, my grandparents (Noah's great-grandparents) - and my parents were there, too, and my Uncle Guy & Aunt Chris's. Noah certainly was the cutest Curious George ever and Norah makes a cute kitty!
